Role Summary
The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for leading the West region's Operations Directors to successfully oversee Gen4 practices’ growth and success, as well as further advancing the operational standards and enhancing the patient experience. The Regional Operations Director will coach and mentor Operations Directors to ensure we are Dr-led while achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the total P&L growth and profitability as well as associate and patient results through world class servant leader execution.
- Supporting and ensuring we have the best Operations Directors in the industry through hiring, development and accountability.
- Communicate the mission, vision and strategy to the Operations Directors and organization. Also, communicate and facilitate individual needs of teams and practices to the broader leadership team.
- Lead and mentor Operations Directors to ensure each location is well supported to achieve growth plans, project plans, and budget goals.
- Actively lead the budget creation and facilitation process for new Gen4 Partners.
- Deep dive and analyze P&Ls and weekly KPI reports to ensure root cause analysis is achieved and practices that need help in each area receive adequate support and plans to maximize opportunities identified.
- Analyze reports and create recommendations and action plans to attain yearly budgetary goals. Prioritize practice performance issues to ensure year-over-year revenue and profitability growth.
- Coach, train, and develop a team of Operations Directors to meet and exceed accumulations of the region’s practices’ goals.
- Ensure Operations Directors have weekly 1:1s with office managers/doctors to address concerns, challenges, and opportunities and that the location is well supported for continued success.
- Work with the Regional Clinical Presidents to help support partners and associates in their growth and development by helping them set goals and address operational opportunities within their supported practices.
- Develop Operations Directors to properly coach and mentor office managers/practice leads to ensure practice’s goals are met while creating a positive, productive practice culture.
Qualifications
- BA required with a master's degree preferred
- 8+ years of dental consulting/multi-unit practice management experience preferred
- Proven, successful servant leadership
- Strong emotional intelligence and self-awareness is critical for success
- Excellent project and management skills required
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills - written and oral
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- People management skills - ability to influence & de-escalation skills
- Service-oriented with a strong customer success mentality and approach
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel
Additional Information
Working Environment & Physical Requirements
Working conditions include those typically seen in an office environment. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
This position does require travel to various practices approximately 50% of the time.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
