Job Description

What You Do: You will partner with product, engineering, data science, and design to create industry-leading customer experiences for our engaged professionals. This means assessing their needs and turning them into valued product experiences, while ensuring we build a resonant brand through interaction and UI design. Over time, you’ll help establish a deep understanding of the space and rally the team around your vision, challenging the team to raise the bar for our product.


Qualifications

Experience:

  • 6-10 years of demonstrated ability as a UX or Product Designer
  • A portfolio with easily understandable case studies that tells compelling stories about each of your product successes

Skills:

  • Strong experience turning customer research into premier product experiences
  • Deep knowledge of UX research and appropriate application of research methodologies
  • Knowledge of design systems, information architecture, and designing with data
  • Experience with research influenced design and customer-centric product process

Tools:

  • Strong Experience with design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision
  • Research tools such as Dovetail, Pendo, and Gong
  • Process tools such as Jira and ProductBoard

Meet Your Manager: This role will report to Jason Kopec, the Head of Design at PayScale. Jason has been a design professional for 20 years, and built product and scaled teams at Convoy, Amazon, Redfin, and Microsoft.
