Job Description

As a Senior Product Designer, you will join a team of like-minded, mission-driven designers bringing more affordable medical imaging to the world - by creating digital experiences and products that are simple, human, and bold.

Our Product Designers take a product, feature, or experience from ideation to production. This includes vision-setting, designing solutions, prototyping, bringing along cross-functional teams, overseeing implementation, and collaborating with other designers, researchers, product managers, analysts, and engineers.

A successful candidate will have a portfolio that demonstrates familiarity with most of these kinds of projects.

As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be:

  • Wireframing, prototyping, iterating, and launching new product features, driven by data, and market research
  • Conducting user interviews with clinicians inside and outside of hospitals to understand their workflows
  • Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and business development
  • Regularly presenting your work to the product design team and cross-functional partners
  • Maintaining high design standards through thoughtful critique
  • Testing new ideas and pushing boundaries
  • Perform a broad variety of tasks in support of the role and responsibilities
Qualifications

Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:

  • 5+ years of product design experience suggested, but not required
  • A passion for turning complex problems into simple and engaging experiences
  • Ability to apply UX, visual design, and product thinking to mobile and web
  • Experience applying research, usability tests, and metrics to inform design decisions
  • Comfort with an iterative design process
  • Competence in relevant design and prototyping tools, like Figma and Principle
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and self-management skills
