The Senior Physical Security Investigator is responsible for investigating incidents involving asset losses due to criminal activity.
- Independently conducting investigations by analyzing and verifying information through various investigative techniques, internal resources, and conversations/interviews with persons of interest
- Completing written reports in compliance with current reporting procedures and policies. Must have the ability to write detailed, concise, and accurate reports
- Managing high risk information security incidents by working in conjunction with response partners and other risk teams
- Utilizing next generation tools and technology to conduct deep behavioral analytics assessments/ investigations with a focus on mitigating information security related insider threats
- Providing on-call duties and support which may include after-hours support and coordination among GIS response teams
Required Skills:
- Ability to document investigation progress by creating written reports and when necessary, orally present findings to non-technical audiences in clear and concise language.
- Ability to present and lead discussions with various stakeholders and management across different functions and lines of business
- Ability to mitigate high risk information security incidents by collaborating with other response partners and other risk teams
- Must be able to independently complete investigations utilizing internal and external resources, conversations/interviews with persons of interest, and collaboration with external business partners and law enforcement agencies.
- Ability to investigate incidents involving asset losses due to criminal activity; including but not limited to burglary, skimming, and internal/external fraud. Must be able to effectively provide updates and communicate key initiatives to senior management
- Understanding of some or all ATM solution/product areas including hardware, software, processing, networks, and operations
- Civil and/or criminal litigation support experience a plus.
- Knowledge of law enforcement practices involving complex investigations, fraud, prosecutions and providing testimony.
- Experience networking/liaising with other corporate investigation teams, local, state, federal, and international law enforcement.
- Ability to conduct fraud risk assessments by collecting, organizing, and interpreting Cardtronics' fraud statistics to develop targeted reporting to identify fraud risk trends.
- Information security experience in the areas of cyber forensics, incident response, malware reverse engineering are a plus.
Desired certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Certifications- CFE, CFCE, CISSP, GCIH, EnCE, CHFI
- Networking/System administration experience a plus
- Foundational knowledge in computer forensics, incident response, and data loss prevention-DLP.
