  • Effectively create and communicate winning supplier quality strategies and approaches.
  • Deep collaboration across Supply Chain, Ops Eng., and Manufacturing teams to identify quality strategies, gaps, and procedures to satisfy manufacturing requirements.
  • Define opportunities for policy, process, and quality risk elimination activities across supply chain.
  • Create an effective qualification, approval, and compliance process for new global suppliers, including supplier audits as required.
  • Ensure development, training, and implementation of supplier quality tools/processes for all quality engineering team members, internal stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Generate and monitor monthly supplier scorecards and drive supplier performance improvement actions as required.
  • Create an effective and timely Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) execution process, through root cause analysis, containment, corrective, and preventative measures.
  • Ensure closure to supplier non-conformances by driving to route cause analysis using quick response quality control tools and developed NCMR scorecards for suppliers
  • Assess and perform on site supplier audits as required.
  • Lead and support quality activities including PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, PSW, and an understanding of IQ/OQ/PQ.
  • Advocate on behalf of supply chain function and operational partners to ensure support for core business objectives.
  • Solid business judgment, including the ability to anticipate and weigh the impact of decisions.
  • Leadership skills to be a change agent, demonstrating perseverance and resilience when faced with challenges.
  • Ability to consult, advise and influence cross-functionally within the organization.
  • Highly analytical, with a clear, logical understanding of problem-solving including Root Cause, Corrective Action, Countermeasures, Problem Solving Plans, and Action Plan development and execution.
  • Highly skilled in manage conflict, both with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize team objectives and activities and in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Need
  • B.S. Degree in Engineering – (Mech., Electrical, Chemical, Manufacturing, Industrial)
  • Masters in (Business, Quality, Engineering Management, or similar degree)
  • ASQ Certified Black Belt or Green Belt or Strong BB program with multiply projects
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer a plus
  • 10+ years of Supplier Quality Engineering, R&D, or Manufacturing experience within a regulated manufacturing industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct management experience.
  • Knowledge of industry quality systems, IPC standards and RoHS.
  • Experience using Control Plans, FMEA’s and PPAP or equivalent part approval process.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills to determine root causes and use of statistical analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence others.
  • Demonstrated experience at influencing and driving corrective action with large global suppliers.
  • Ability to work within a complex environment with cross-functional teams across different geographies.
