In partnership with families and the community, we prepare each student to maximize career, college, and life opportunities. Located in Cobb County, Georgia, and serving students who reside within the city limits of Marietta, we are one of Georgia’s first Charter Systems and first International Baccalaureate (IB) World School Districts. The 1,200 employees of Marietta City Schools serve approximately 8,900 students in 12 schools: one early learning center, seven K-grade 5 elementary schools, one grade 3-5 magnet school, one sixth grade academy, one middle school, and one high school.
