Who you are:You are a high performing international tax professional who has experience with U.S. outbound international and cross-border tax issues and are interested in developing your career with the tax function at Getty Images. You have strong the ability to analyze and understand complex tax laws, measure impacts on the business and communicate them to the broader business in simple terms. You have 6 to 9 years of tax experience with consistent advancement into more complex roles, including at least 3 years in a position with exposure to international operations and corresponding impacts under US tax and accounting rules. Your Next Challenge:We are looking for an individual to play a critical role within the tax department, to be viewed as a leader and trusted business advisor to Getty Images. This individual will be responsible for outbound U.S. international income tax processes for both financial reporting and US income tax compliance, and will support with processes surrounding transfer pricing documentation & analysis, global tax planning, tax controversy resolution, and other transactional support and special projects, as required. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all U.S. outbound international calculations which include, but are not limited to, GILTI, foreign inclusion impacts on 163(j), and BEAT for both income tax provision and compliance. Responsible for the calculation of Foreign Tax Credit utilization, including classification of income by basket and source, allocation of expenses, IRC 78 gross up and tax pool analysis and support files. Responsible for all US International reporting forms including but not limited to, Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, 8991, 8992, 8975, 8990 and any required attachments. Assist international accounting team with implementing the company’s global transfer pricing strategy and policies, including review of separate entity profits to ensure appropriate jurisdictional returns. Manage external service providers with the preparation of the global transfer pricing documentation. Assist with documentation and support of any relevant issues impacting financial statement tax accounting for ASC 740 (FIN 48). Support U.S. and non-U.S. tax audit related matters. Assist with tax aspects of any potential mergers and acquisitions, and liquidations of legal entities. Assist with managing and developing tax-planning strategies. Keep informed on tax law changes for both US and Non-U.S. jurisdiction. Prepare memoranda’s documenting key changes and impacts on the business. What you’ll need:

  • Minimum of 6 years’ tax experience, public accounting/private industry mix preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constantly shifting priorities.
  • Willingness to directly prepare working papers and tax planning analyses in a "roll-up-your sleeves" environment.
  • Ability to interface with diverse external tax advisors, tax auditors and internal departments, including internal audit, diplomatically and professionally.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, oral and written communications skills require.
  • BS Accounting
Nice to have:
  • MS in Taxation or LL.M. in taxation from an accredited university
  • CPA
