The Senior Manager, Brand Marketing Partnerships will report into the Director, Brand Marketing Partnerships for NBCU’s D2C streaming service and will be a team lead responsible for Peacock's third-party partnerships, as well as oversee performance goals tied to acquisition, retention and earned media through each of these deals. The role will involve developing and executing the end-to-end partner program including working with internal stakeholders, managing the go-to-market plan, on-going marketing strategy, analyzing and improving partnership performance.

This is a high profile, cross-functional role with touch points across NBCU’s D2C product and the wider NBCU business including Brand and Growth Marketing, Business Development, Consumer Insights, Product, Ad Sales, Legal, Finance and Operations. Other elements critical to success in this role include curiosity, eagerness to learn, and experience working cross-functionally within a matrixed organization.
  • Identify, evaluate, and execute marketing partnerships that will provide step-function growth for Peacock and drive material brand lift while tracking health of each partnership to inform on future opportunities.
  • Evaluate new and manage existing marketing partnerships with major brands and market leading companies across several verticals, including digital entertainment services, lifestyle, travel, finance, retail, gaming, and more.
  • Scale, nurture, and optimize partnerships to drive innovative co-marketing opportunities for Peacock, identifying incremental, mutually beneficial opportunities to grow the partnership with a focus on building a marketing roadmap that drives growth and engagement of Peacock.
  • Establish, implement, and measure the effectiveness of partner campaigns that drive brand awareness, subscriber acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Work with partners and cross functional stakeholders across the Peacock organization to build marketing programs as well as lead campaign execution that target specific customer cohorts, viewing behaviors, and product features for each partner; accountable for campaign development, approvals, and performance tracking.
  • Define top performing metrics, identify KPIs, and deliver a plan to optimize campaigns and report out on results.
  • Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate high impact partnership initiatives to executives.
  • Engage NBCU D2C teams – Acquisition, Engagement, PR, Brand and Growth Marketing, Strategy, Product, Ad Sales Technology Finance, Legal, Operations – to communicate and implement partnerships.
  • Manager direct reports and invest in hiring and developing team members to support the global growth of Peacock.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in partner facing role
  • Prior experience working with major brands
  • Solid partnership management, marketing and brand experience within media and entertainment industry
  • Familiarity with negotiating, understanding, and enforcing contracts

  • A good understanding of the OTT or ecommerce market
  • Strong knowledge of elements to launch partnerships: proposition development, marketing channels, commercial models, operational mechanics
  • Organized and structured, ability to reliably deliver on plans and forecasts is critical
  • Collegial, high energy, and persistent personality, and excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Comfort with a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment
  • Excellent communication skills
