Senior Manager, Accounting Controls and Project Management (Remote) Details

Collins Aerospace Financial Shared Services is searching for a dynamic finance professional to lead our Controls and Project Management teams. In this role you will have responsibility for the controls program of the Collins Financial Shared Services team. The role also provides leadership for project management professionals who assist with Finance projects including SAP implementations and process automation.

This position can be worked remotely from anywhere in the Domestic US.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead team of Controls and Project Management professionals
  • Support the Collins Financial Shared Service Sarbanes-Oxley program for establishing and maintaining adequate internal control over financial reporting
  • Lead annual Sarbanes-Oxley testing procedures, the annual gap and risk assessements and other control initiatives
  • Provide guidance on RTX Policy, accounting and internal control matters
  • Support RTX internal and external audits

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage team priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Process mindset focusing on identifying inefficiencies and driving operational improvements
