ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Tasking may include, but not limited to:

  • Oversee and/or perform ordering, addressing, transportation and shipping, receiving, packing

and unpacking, storing, warehousing, inventorying, induction and issuance of incoming and
outgoing equipment and material, as well as disposal of material and equipment, as well as
managing transportation, supply or quality deficiencies and associated reporting.

  • Review, prepare and maintain key supporting documents (KSD) related to coordination of

receipt, shipment and/or disposal of material, such as DD Forms 1149, 1348 and 250.

  • Conduct supply screening, material identification, and material sourcing using standard

logistics tool applications such as Navy ERP and Web Federal Logistics Information Services
(WebFLIS), identify material handling discrepancies, complete causative research, and provide
recommendations to correct and/or avoid recurrence of the given discrepancy.

  • Oversee/perform storage and organization of material, including Care of Supplies and Storge

(COSIS).

  • Preservation, Packaging, Packing and Marking (PPP&M) and Kitting of material, including

spare parts, electronic and other equipment, including those of irregular shapes or contours;
oversee/perform loading/unloading trucks and delivery to local customers.

  • Provide or verify shipments by confirming material, quantities, destination, and method of

delivery, including expediting parts for repairable components inducted into a maintenance
facility and for other naval command requirements.

  • Oversee and ensure military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) freight

traffic rules for demurrage, detention, and storage are followed in preparing movements, and take
appropriate action to keep charges at a minimum.

  • Recording materials moved or handled with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or

similar warehouse management and property/material accountability systems.

  • Oversee/perform other disposition efforts including obtaining and maintaining Electronic Turn-

in Document (EITD), eRetrograde Management System (eRMS), and Joint Deficiency Reporting
System (JDRS) access and screening material for proper disposition.

  • Providing guidance to supply technicians, material coordinators, warehouse specialists, and

shipping/receiving clerks
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have five, and ideally fifteen, years’ experience managing a complex warehouse

environment, associated property/material accountability, and receipt, storage, issuance,
disposition, shipment and delivery of equipment and material.

  • Experience with managing ERP/SAP Warehouse Management and Property Accountability

System of Record (APSR) or similar systems, as well as the use of tools such as WebFLIS.

  • Experience in managing and documenting for Transportation of Hazardous Material
  • Oversight and operation of warehouse equipment such as pickup trucks, flatbed trucks, vans,

material-handling equipment (MHE) up to 20,000 pound (20K), and other material handling
equipment to support local on base customers.

  • Must have the ability to oversee and keep track of complex activities that include ordering,

addressing, transportation and shipping, receiving, packing and unpacking, storage, warehousing,
inventorying, induction and issuance of incoming and outgoing equipment and material, as well
as of disposal of the same.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Fifteen (15) or more years’ experience managing a warehouse environment, associated

property/material accountability, and receipt, storage, shipment and delivery of equipment.

  • Knowledge and/or experience in the Navy Supply System, Navy Enterprise Resource Planning

(ERP), Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), One Touch Supply, WebFLIS, and
related systems to support U.S. Navy warehouse and property accountability operations,
especially in support of the naval vessel or aviation operations environment.

  • Maintain, assemble or modify Phase Maintenance Kits according to command direction and

stow securely at the designated storage location(s).

  • Experience with DoD Electronic Turn-in Document (EITD), eRetrograde Management System

(eRMS), and Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS).

  • Experience in managing inventory and associated accountability of Depot Level Repairables,

electronic equipment, various combat and weapons systems, industrial plant equipment and
flight gear.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $36,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
