Would you love to work with the product design team in R&D (not part of IT) to specify computer hardware and software for our particle characterization products? Use your extensive IT experience in a different realm! Your work will include the selection, configuration, integration and qualification of computer systems, operating systems, drivers and application software! You will research and propose solutions to facilitate privacy and security of our customers’ data on our products. Partner with software development to define and implement solutions for software patch management. Investigate and suggest alternatives for hardware components and software that has reached the end of its support lifecycle.
Qualifications
BS in Computer engineering or equivalent
5+ years of experience configuring computer systems and operating systems
2+ years of Windows and PC experience
Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking, communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a regulated environment
Experience with design controls and safety risk management
Desire to learn and keep current with technology
Linux experience
Windows IoT or other embedded System On Module (SOM) experience
The salary range for this role is $77,900 to $116,800. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus of up to 10% of your base.
