Senior HR Generalist - Global Sales & Marketing NA

Job Description The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for a variety of Human Resources tasks or initiatives, including advising people managers on the execution of performance management, coaching, corrective action issues, team building, employee development and compliance initiatives. This role will provide primary operational (day to day) support for the managers and employees within the organization by designated geographic regions or locations. The position requires team participation and interfaces within all areas of Human Resources to provide exceptional and consistent support for managers and employees. The HRG will also play a pivotal role in expanding the HR presence throughout the organization and also supporting culture shifts through targeted initiatives. - Partner with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Center of Expertise(CoE) leaders at a local level to bring value and support to the business through:
- execution of performance management
- coaching
- corrective action issues
- team building
- employee development
- compliance initiatives
- execution of university relations programs/activities
- Provide guidance and support to local managers on performance management with the aim of preventing employee disputes.
- Manage, with input from manager and in cooperation with HRBPs, all voluntary terminations and reductions in force. (Incl. planning, costing, and documenting all stages of the exit)
- Represent company in employee disputes
- Deliver HR training activities provided by the COEs to managers and employees. Specialize content for Business/Function as needed to address client group needs.
- Provide support for local languages and data gathering when required
- Provide support for on-site audit/compliance reviews when necessary (regulatory/legal requirements).
- Deliver required data for local activities when needed:
- Tax audit, investigation, invoice data entry, legal review, EHS, compensation guidance
- Ensure all local policies, procedures and employment documents are up to date according to local legal requirements (including any transition needed).
- Ensure a positive, non-discriminatory, and safe work environment (in compliance with local laws)
- Provide support as required for any company-wide changes, such as restructuring, assisting HRBPs with change management efforts.
- Provide local support for corporate initiatives and programs, such as engagement and inclusion initiatives, global voices (employee survey), and action planning.
- Support local deployment of HR programs and cycles (e.g. Implementing new payroll methods locally, HRIS implementation, launching new CoE program/process, others).
- Perform some Talent Advisor responsibilities for internal job requisitions (NA)
- Act as escalation point for the HR Service Center as needed to assist in responding to and supporting employees and managers with questions and needs related to local programs and policies.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree within Human Resources or related.

Preferred Qualifications: - Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience in a highly matrixed organization.
- Strong written and oral English communications skills, and strong influencing capabilities.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge to support HR functional programs including execution of performance management, coaching, total rewards, organization & employee development, compliance initiatives, corrective action issues, and facilitation of Diversity/Equity/Inclusion efforts.
