DESCRIPTION
Synergy Senior Care is a growing Nursing Home management company based in Skokie, Illinois and is looking for an experienced senior care accountant to join our team.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Complete monthly financial close process;
- Prepare, review, and post journal ledger entries, where necessary;
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations;
- Post monthly AR and Payroll;
- Assist with periodic internal and external audits;
Requirements:
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or similar areas of study
- Minimum, 3 years of nursing home accounting experience
- CPA, a plus
- Experience with Point Click Care and QuickBooks, a plus
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with advanced functional knowledge of MS Excel is required - Power Query proficiency, a plus
