The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in driving operational performance for our restaurants by utilizing data to support performance and cost improvement initiatives. The role will support all business units within the organization and will connect with Senior Leadership frequently to perform detailed customer, product, and financial analysis. This role will also support various forecasting and budgeting efforts as well as support SEC and Board reporting and filings.
What does this role look like?
- Responsible for complex profit margin and cost analysis.
- Become the subject matter expert for all finance-related items across the various business units.
- Create, maintain, and enhance various weekly and monthly financial and operational metrics and reports on the results.
- Partner with leadership to identify and communicate opportunities and risks across the various business units.
- Support/Own the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes for the company.
- Support and/or own the creation of various SEC filings and Board and Audit reports.
- Initiate and support process improvements and drive to successful implementation.
- Assist in the potential development of new reporting, financial, and/or operational systems.
- Work closely with accounting and operations to resolve discrepancies.
- Demonstrated analytical ability, critical thinking, and disciplined problem-solving skills essential.
- Assist in creating period financial and operational scorecards.
- Assist with business case analysis.
We want to know that you:
- Strong data mining skills –SQLServer or other developer skills a plus.
- Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or preferably Power BI.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Self-motivated and directed with the ability to operate under minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to easily capture analyses in spreadsheets.
- Proven ability to distill complex matters into understandable messaging.
- Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and focus on accuracy.
- Collaborative team player.
- Confident and unafraid to challenge the status quo.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization.
- Restaurant and Hospitality experience is a major plus.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Sciences, or other comparable undergraduate degrees.
- 3+ years in a finance/accounting role, preferably as a financial analyst, business analyst, or data analyst.
- Restaurant, hospitality, or other food and beverage experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
