The Sr Analyst, Financial & Management Reporting will be responsible for the preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements including those used for management reporting. This position will be responsible for using a variety of business intelligence tools (PeopleSoft Query, nVision, Tableau, Strata, SQL developer) in order to design, build, and produce management reports and dashboards for stakeholder usage. The Sr Analyst will support the Manager by gathering functional reporting requirements and implementing said reports using the software tools noted above. This position will also assist in the design and build out of on demand reporting solutions to automate and replace existing manually derived reports. Additional responsibilities include advising senior leadership of trends and changes in reporting and providing guidance to the Analyst, Financial & Management Reporting.
Degrees: Bachelors Additional Qualifications: Minimum of BS in Accounting, Finance or a related field with at least 5 years of experience in the Finance or Accounting area. Candidate must possess strong technical skills, should be proficient with financial software programs (PeopleSoft, PeopleSoft Query, nVision, Tableau, and Strata strongly preferred) and must have sound knowledge of financial statements with a solid financial background. In addition to having a fundamental understanding of GAAP, knowledge of SQL and relational databases is strongly preferred. Must be detail-oriented and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment within a complex matrix-structured organization. Strong written, verbal, and computer skills are required. The ability to handle a variety of assignments and prioritize work to meet deadlines is needed. The candidate should be motivated to learn as well as teach and should display a willingness to tackle a variety of assignments from routine tasks to more intricate requests.
