Summary of Job Scope and Expectations:
The Senior Field Asset Protection Analyst serves as a technical advisor to Field Asset Projection Analysts. This position conducts asset protection audits, inspections, and assessments in the field and produces and submits reports to Operations teams recommending procedural improvements and identifying fraud uncovered during store site visits. The Field AP Analyst trains Operators on asset protection best practices and supports assigned Operations Zones(s) for all asset protection issues. This position conducts enterprise-wide analytical projects with major impact, leading to improvement in how the company protects its assets.
Essential functions:
Descriptions- Serves as a technical advisor to Field Asset ProtectionAnalysts and trains new and existing Analysts on AP audit process.
- Conducts asset protection audits, inspections, and assessments in the field, conducting investigative interviews and arranging evidence for potential police intervention. Uncovers and verifies fraud during store site visits.
- Prepares and submits reports to Operations teams on AP audit findings. Recommends procedural improvements and recommends disciplinary action for GMs where fraud is uncovered and verified.
- Teaches, coaches, and trains Operators on asset protection best practices. Provides training to Operations Leaders, GMs, and Associates on site and in class presentations on cash handling compliance and related procedures.
- Conducts enterprise-wide analytical projects with major impact, leading to improvement in how the company protects its assets. Updates cash handling policies and procedures; develops and carries out implementation plans to improve store procedures and avoid fraud situations.
- Supports assigned Operations Zone(s) for all asset protection issues.
- Teaches, coaches, and trains new Analysts on asset protection audit process.
- Implements Asset Protection objectives where and as necessary.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor’s degree required (preferred fields: Criminology, Political Science, Accounting)
- Minimum five years of asset protection experience
- Completion of all three ASIS Asset Protection courses; CPP, CPI, PSP,, CPA, CIA, or CFE certification suggested
- Successful completion of annual store training
- Completion of GM IT program
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: - Technical mastery of store security equipment, including POS, safe, and CCTV systems
- Mastery of all areas of Asset Protection
- Strong knowledge of fraud and theft investigation

Day and overnight travel: 25% - 50%; may work out of home or regional office; ability to climb on store roof with accommodation
