What You Will do:

When you first arrive, you’ll learn about Zywave, our story, our products, our vision, and our process. Once you’re up and running, you will work with product development team members to develop cutting edge, best-in-class, SaaS applications. On a regular basis, you will enable development teams to program, develop, document, troubleshoot, debug, and maintain our modern web based applications; through DevSecOps training and tooling.

In This Role You Will:

  • Function as a subject matter expert in Kubernetes and containerization
  • Enable teams to build and maintain cloud infrastructure
  • Mentor others on DevSecOps concepts such as Continuous Delivery, Automation, Monitoring, Security, etc.
  • Develop, test, document, troubleshoot and debug internal Zywave tools to meet the needs of our development teams
  • Contribute, provide input and continuously look for ways to improve all aspects of the development lifecycle
  • Serve as a technical resource and make sound decisions based on department standards
  • Make Zywave, Inc. the best in our business while learning, growing and having fun

You Are The Right Fit If You Can:

  • Deploy and maintain tools used for developing, hosting and maintaining Zywave applications on Kubernetes
  • Enable development teams to use modern CI/CD hosting with Kubernetes, tooling and processes
  • Collaborate and brainstorm with team members to plan, design and task out activities that will be completed in an iterative cycle
  • Collaborate and brainstorm with team members to design, develop, test, deploy and support best in class software development practices and tools
  • Develop unit tests, integration tests and build scripts to support continuous integration for your applications for bug free releases
  • Assist in product deployments, including, but not limited to creation, installation, training, documentation, and maintenance
  • Research and experiment with new technologies, tools and techniques to stay on top of current technology.
  • Apply and share new techniques

  • Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD scripting and tools (GitLab-CI, Github Actions, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based platform technologies (Azure, AWS, etc.)
  • B.S. in information systems technology or computer science, plus 2 or more years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking and a high level of creativity and problem-solving skills
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
