Would you love to use your electrical engineering experience to Help Realize Life’s Potential? You will support Flow Cytometry engineering activities for the Miami Life Science Flow site products. This is a great opportunity for a self-starting and confident individual needed to resolve technical issues impacting manufacturing line partner concerns, product quality, delivery and cost! Drive problems to root cause and solving moderately complex technical issues in product designs.
Implement design changes for the issues you have identified while adhering to regulatory standards for medical products. Apply your analytical skills to interpret data using your independent judgment to develop the solutions. Receive formal in-depth product knowledge/training on multiple flow-cytometers types and sample-preparation systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering
5+ years’ relevant electronic design experience
Schematic capture CAD design experience
Experience with electronic circuit simulation/modeling software
Familiarity with at least two of the following: PC/Microprocessors, LCD/LED Display Systems, FPGA, CPLD or analog circuits
Experience with (VHDL / Verilog) FPGA language
Preferred Qualifications
Biotechnology and medical device proven experience
Schematic capture experience preferably in Orcad or Cadence
Experience coordinating work effort with a diverse functional team
Experience with two or more of the following: project leadership, DFMEA analysis, DOE’s, JIRA, or I-Obeya
