Position Description

CGI is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to provide technical and cloud expertise to architect cloud solutions in support our Client's cloud transformation journey. The candidate is required to bring strong knowledge and skills regarding the Assessment/Cloud Readiness, Migration to the Cloud, Cloud Native, Application Modernization utilizing the latest DevOps technologies and Agile practices.

Your future duties and responsibilities
  • Experience developing Enterprise Cloud & Hybrid Cloud Strategies
  • Strong knowledge of AWS/AZURE/GCP cloud services
  • Experience executing cloud migrations including R-lane Analysis, Application Rationalization and Modernization strategies
  • Strong understanding of Cloud Native development and foundational concepts
  • Work with CGI and Client Architects and Experts to build solutions according to requirements
  • Manage, perform and deliver the Cloud services
  • Manage and prepare technical deliverables and/or provides input to other deliverables related to Cloud services
  • Troubleshoot technical and business issues and provide options for resolution
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices
  • Expertise in Agile delivery
  • Experience with assessment tools to analysis current state applications and their readiness for the cloud (ex. CAST)
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
  • At least 3+ years working in AWS/ AZURE/GCP Cloud environment
oExperience and understanding of the following core component of AWS (client, storage, compute, virtualization, CloudWatch, Lambda, VPC, Security Roles [IAM], Cloud Formation, Redshift)
  • Experience implementing Data Strategies tailored to cloud and hybrid cloud implementations
  • Experience with complex data model supporting multi-faceted business process
  • Must have DevOps experience at least 3+ years
oNetworking (DNS, Firewall)
oContinuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Experience
oSource Control (Git)
oAgile delivery experience
