Key Responsibilities:
The primary activities include but are not limited to the following:
- General Secretarial/Clerical duties Work requires the coordination and performance of multiple tasks while understanding the project principles and technical skills related to own work assignments.
- Produces/completes various work assignments requiring advanced analytical ability, independent judgment, creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Works in teams or independently as needed and as relevant to complete work assignments and various tasks.
- Completing monthly expense reports for several managers.
- Updating monthly organization charts for the Process Chemistry and Discovery Process Chemistry groups.
- Coordinating and scheduling candidate interviews Calendar scheduling/planning; managing calendars for multiple executives.
- Communication Skills must be at a level to effectively interact with company executives and internal/external clients to maintain workflow.
- Ability to handle and prioritize many simultaneous assignments.
- Experience with event planning and coordination.
- Extraordinary attention to detail.
Education Required: High School Diploma
Preferred: Advanced education or certifications such as (e.g. Certified Administrative Professional, Project Management Professional Certification, Professional in Human Resources Certification)
Qualifications:
- The candidate will be supporting 2 Exec Director, 8 Directors and their supports
- These candidates could be asked to do a side-by-side with the Manager for a Show Me approach that they are able to Schedule interviews, enter expenses and navigate through Microsoft office
Role Summary:
- The Administrative Associate provides proactive, high-quality, flexible, and reliable administrative support to the Process Chemistry and Discovery Process Chemistry group in Process Research & Development.
- This role assists with administrative functions relating to organization and communication across the team and ensures the efficient operation of team members.

- In addition to supporting the Process Chemistry and Discovery Process Chemistry groups, the role supports various division-related committees and meetings that enhance the division and further its goals.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of (5) years of Administrative Assistant experience.
- Advanced computer skills using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and operation of other peripheral devices
- Demonstrated experience scheduling and coordinating multiple calendars SAP experience: Expense Reports; Purchase Orders and Payment Requests; Vendor Add Forms Professional communication skills
