What We’re Looking For Baylor University’s Financial Services Office is looking for a Senior Accountant to support the University’s Real Estate, Facilities, & Construction Services teams. This position reports to the Director of Debt and Capital Asset Accounting and will manage essential financial, budget, compliance, administrative, and accounting activities. This support includes financial planning, procurement, research, and advising on the allocation of resources to achieve business objectives, as well as ensuring the appropriate accounting and reporting of real estate, facilities and construction activities. Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate the following: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and five years of relevant work experience, and a Christian faith are required. A Master’s degree and seven years of relevant experience is preferred. A CPA or someone who is currently sitting for their CPA certification is strongly preferred. Experience with construction project accounting, lease accounting, and real estate transactions strongly preferred. Hybrid work will be considered for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
