TheSecurity Supervisor will act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers, and Security Officers. They will supervise site staff as well as provide coaching, recognition, and issue discipline when appropriate.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Issues warnings or reprimands when an infraction has occurred.
  • Promptly report any and all complaints to management when a client is involved.
  • Has authority to change a schedule temporarily for the purposes of providing services effectively.
  • Possess suitable written, oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel as well as the public in a professional and effective manner.
  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.

Essential Job Functions

  • Patrols all assigned sites to ensure that all security officers are correctly wearing their uniform, Company Identification Card, always has their State Identification Card with them and are following client post orders.
  • Adjusts schedule when necessary to cover and staff a site or run Base of Operations when needed.
  • Collects sign-in sheets required for payroll.
  • Warns employees of rule infractions, train employees on post orders and safety or carrying forbidden articles and apprehends or expels persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
  • Inspects equipment to ascertain if repairs or supplies are needed. Delivery of supplies or other essential equipment when needed.
  • Monitors and review reports for irregularities such as unsafe equipment, hazardous working conditions, etc.
  • Notifies the Police or Fire Department by telephone in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
  • Registers at watch stations to record time of inspection trips.
  • Records data such as property damage, unusual occurrences, and malfunctioning of machinery or equipment, for use of management staff.

Requirements

  • Must be bilingual English and Spanish.
  • Valid D- License
  • Must be eligible to work in the US.
  • Drug free workplace (Applicant must be willing to submit to a drug screening)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must pass criminal background check.
  • Able to:

-Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain, heat, noisy, heights, confining workspace, chemicals, mechanical hazards, and electrical hazards.

-Occasionally lift or carry up to 50 pounds.

-Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.

-Travel to different sites and locations

-Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
