11/17/21 TITLE: SECURITY REPORTS TO: SECURITY MANAGER, PROPERTY MANAGER, MOD FLSA CLASS: Hourly Non-Exempt The job duties described below are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job classification. All employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed. Description of the Position: Duties include but are not limited to; Security Staff monitor the overall safety and security the Spanish Ballroom during events and for the entire property, to include the hotel. In addition to regular Security duties this position will also be required to perform guest services including but not limited to, alcohol monitoring for the property and help with the food and beverage departments doing dishes, delivering dishes, and ice to each bar as needed. This position will also help maintain the cleanliness of the property, perform light maintenance work and help with catered events in a customer service capacity as needed. Besides the night auditor, Security Staff are the only employees on property during late night hours. Each Security Staff member is responsible for maintaining and responding to any safety issue that arises, be available to answer questions, and assist customers in whatever way necessary. Being a Security staff member can be hard physical work and requires the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast paced and deadline oriented environment. Security Staff must also have the ability to work well independently and as a member of a team. Each employee will be expected to perform their job in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to Management. All McMenamin employees will also be expected to keep current on all company events, history, and products. Other duties as assigned by the Manager on duty.
