Responds to Emergency Codes
Assists with Emergency Code Drills
Uses security technology to control access and monitor the facility
Screens visitors, patients, and patient belongings
Conducts patrols and escorts visitors and staff
Investigates incidents and completes appropriate reports and documentation in a timely manner
Performs other various duties as assigned or requested
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Associates or Bachelors in a safety or security related field preferred
Preferred knowledge of Joint Commission Environment of Care standards and quality of care
