Job Opening Summary Contributes to the safety and welfare of patients, visitors and staff by enforcing policies based upon regulatory requirements and customer needs. Greets patients/visitors to the assigned post and helps coordinate patient/visitor flow through site. Also provides information related to hospital, clinics and the local area in a friendly, upbeat manner. Proactively provides information to patients/visitors by using the different computer applications. Employee will proactively help with transportation needs and directions to local destinations and help facilitate making the patients'/visitors' interactions with UF Health a pleasurable experience. Patrols property to prevent theft or damage, responds to alarms, completes incident reports, provides escorts and general customer service, and responds to emergencies. Must be observant, detail-oriented and able to quickly identify risks and opportunity to improve customer outcomes. Independently facilitates communication and problem resolution between patients and other departments. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Shift hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
Must successfully pass an AHCA Level 2 screening for this position.
