Security Analyst has accountability for the coordination of activities related to the system access for clinical and administrative systems. Systems include, but are not limited to: Workday, Epic, Pyxis, Dragon (DMO), QliqSoft, Cerner PowerChart, Azure (MFA), Citrix, NextGen, PACS, Athena, and others. Primary responsibility for handling requests and inquiries related to role-based system access for employed colleagues as well as non-employees and interns.

Responsible for providing primary security support and contact for E.H.R end users. Coordinates complex issues that arise during E.H.R security projects, template builds, and optimization. Provides subject matter expertise and comprehensive knowledge in Trinity Health's policies, procedures, and business operations. Works directly with the customer and performs issue resolution based on decisions from different system decision-making groups. Leads and facilitates conversations with leadership at the RHM to develop new E.H.R. templates.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provides subject matter expertise and comprehensive knowledge in Trinity Health's policies, procedures, and business operations.

Facilitates interdepartmental collaboration with providers, clinicians, and RHM Leadership at all levels to optimize E.H.R. templates conducive to end-user workflow.

Partners with both Internal and System Office stakeholders to develop new templates as new clinical initiatives rollout.

Leads E.H.R. template builds to utilize across the enterprise, and monitors progress from conception to implementation.

Consults with providers, clinicians, executives, and management at all levels in order to provide support for decisions, workflows, new initiatives, and other assignments.

Researches and contributes to recommendations into timing of introduction of new functionality.

Participates in preparation of detailed project work plans and project status reports.

Assists and collaborates with system decision-making groups in determining best practice evidence based workflows, order sets, forms, decision support, and other tools consistently applied throughout Trinity Health.

Participates in interdisciplinary functional groups that make design, implementation, enhancement, and outcome reporting decisions.

Utilizes support staff appropriately and adopts new tools and efficiencies to manage projects and standard workflows.

Manages the RHM E.H.R. Security ServiceNow queue responding to end user inquiries through advanced issue resolution, and intensive investigation.

Required to serve on-call 24/7 and holidays when needed to support the ServiceNow Security Queues.

Activey interacts with and engages other RHMs and Security Analysts to maintain workflow consistency statewide.

Serves as RHM liaison for System Office TogetherCare leadership.

Participates in system audits (AGS).

Provisions system access for employed, non-employed, and other colleagues working within the organization with role based access in a timely fashion.

Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.

Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Health Informatics or related discipline required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of Health Informatics, 1-2 years of experience in an informatics or related role and experience with clinical information systems and health information technology.

Possesses a basic understanding of clinical treatment modalities, organization and administration of Trinity Health delivery systems, educational principles, clinical information systems, accreditation and regulatory standards, and program development.

Demonstrated knowledge and application of change management principles.

Strong organizational skills with flexibility and ability to prioritize.

Demonstrated knowledge and application of project management principles.

Ability to gather and present information to support project management and related documentation.

Excellent ability to collaborate and communicate across departments and disciplines in-person and telephone interactions.

Solid soft skills to include focus, curiosity, agility, humility, and communication.

Ability to interact professionally with internal/external staff, consultants and vendors.

Experience in evaluating the effectiveness of technologies and workflows that impact clinical users.

Ability to work independently and autonomously.

Ability to perform critical analysis and evaluation of health IT and recommends revision of clinical systems, processes, and workflow to ensure achievement of positive patient outcomes.

Possesses an understanding of clinical treatment modalities, organization and administration of healthcare delivery systems, educational principles, clinical information systems, accreditation and regulatory standards, and program development.

Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. Excellent ability to collaborate across departments and disciplines.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Must be able to set and organize own work priorities and adapt to them as they change frequently. Must be able to work concurrently on a variety of tasks/projects in an environment that may be stressful with individuals having diverse personalities and work styles.

This position requires visual acuity, keen hearing, clear distinctive speech, and manual dexterity. This position may require potentially long periods of continued walking, standing, stooping, sitting, bending, pulling, and pushing.

The incumbent must be a mature, flexible, sensible individual capable of working effectively in stressful situations, able to shift priorities based on needs.

Must be able to travel to various Trinity Health sites as needed.

Must possess the ability to comply with Trinity Health policies and procedures.
