Position Summary

We are seeking an execution focused professional with proven leadership experience within Financial Services.

The successful candidate will lead the data and analytics arcitecture strategy for HFS, using data and innovative technologies to drive the cost to serve of the business, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, increase revenue, optimize the operating model and risk framework and create value added data driven Products for our Clients.

Responsibilities


  • Lead the design and development of the enterprise data strategy for Hedge Fund Services.
  • Establish the framework for integrating all data sources into a single source of truth.
  • Ensure data quality through automated reconciliations and stake-holder alerts.
  • Provide data management capabilities and promote a strong culture of data integrity.
  • Define a semantic layer to maximize data asset understanding and enable self-service reporting.
  • Create alignment with the wider bank efforts around data governance, enterprise architecture and business intelligence.

Requirements
  • Expertise in design and implementation of big data strategies and enterprise system architecture.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of financial services products, applications, processes and data and the business intelligence to support it.
  • Ability to deliver large-scale business intelligence and data management programs.
  • Experience implementing, administering, supporting, and integrating industry accounting, trading, CRM systems and third party data providers.
  • Strong technical background in database development, data warehouse architecture, application development, schema building, and self-service reporting.
  • Proven leader acting as a change agent spreading digital literacy and transformational technology across a diverse organization.
  • Proficiency in building and leading high-performance IT development teams.
  • Awareness and strict adherence to data governance and data privacy laws.
  • Aptitude to quickly identify patterns in complex information and present as simplified technical instruction.
