As a fast-growing public accounting firm, we are looking for a highly motivated, experienced tax preparer to join our team for the 2020 tax filing season. This temporary position is expected to run from February 1st to April 15th, with a Monday - Friday, 8:00-5:00 work schedule. Additional hours may be available, but are not required. We pride ourselves on exceptional client service and high-quality work. Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and review of complex tax advisory services and planning
  • Individual, partnership, and corporate tax return preparation (UltraTax CS experience preferred)
  • Communicate with and manage client relationships
  • Engage in consulting and special projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA or EA preferred)
  • 2-4 years’ experience preparing corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Sage (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to produce a quality work product with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Availability to work additional hours during peak periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, and research skills
