The Position: Working with the Southeast Sales Department, the Seasonal Delivery Driver Assistant primary responsibility is to ensure timely, accurate and efficient delivery of product. General tasks and responsibilities include:

• Deliver beer (cases and kegs) to on-premise and off premise establishments.
• Consistent delivery time to fulfill the needs of our customers.
• Properly deliver merchandise and rotate product.
• Fills all out of stocks, price marking product when required, pickup all empties and damaged products.
• Tap cleaning in on-premise draft accounts.
• Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
• Assist with other brewery delivery/pickup needs such as recycling, store transfers, moving needs, or other deliveries, as directed.
• Assist with other brewery warehouse needs, janitorial, outdoor maintenance and other duties, as directed.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements of this position include:

• Ability to maneuver pallets of beer weighing 2,600 lbs using a pallet jack or forklift.
• Ability to stack 40 lb cases and lift kegs weighing up to 170 lbs.
• Ability to repetitively lift heavy objects.
• Ability to drive a forklift and handle heavy objects safely in a team environment.
• Ability to work in cold, wet conditions.

Reporting to the SE Sales Supervisor, this person works as part of the sales team, directly with customers, to ensure that each one is treated with an authentically Alaskan quality of service. Skills and knowledge needed to be successful in this position include:

• High School Diploma or GED & one year of related experience and/or training.
• Excellent driving skills.
• Ability to set priorities and manage competing demands.
• Computer skills using word processing, spreadsheet and database software.
• This position requires operation of the company delivery truck. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and a current medical card permitting the operation of the company delivery vehicle. Ability to perform time-sensitive, fast-paced, physically demanding activity
