If you wish to further develop your career with one of the most successful logistics organization, this is an excellent opportunity to join our team!Your RoleThe Sea Logistics Import Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of Sea Import shipments such as opening import files, production of internal documentation, updating import status, assisting and advising customers of arrival, arranging deliveries, processing invoices (including price conversions and verifying shipment weight and volume) and handling e-mail queries from Kuehne + Nagel overseas offices.Your Responsibilities

  • Customer Care and Satisfaction: Proactive advice and consultancy, ensuring Customer satisfaction
  • Shipment Management Qualification and entry of Customer orders into Operational process
  • Complaint Management
  • Support Customer Development & Maintenance
  • Close cooperation with Branch & Area management as well as Sea Logistics operations (OCC) for an enhanced customer experience
  • Profit Maximization – avoid additional costs & expenses due to internal service failure
  • Financial Excellence & Development
  • Quotation Management: Qualification of Customer inquiries, provide KN quotations and updates, set final selling price with individual adjustments within the given price band and in-line with the national leeway in decision-making (front-line Empowerment)
  • Familiarization with KN Products & systems, i.e. Customer myKN, KN Login/ESP, CoreLOG
  • Customer onboarding: Inclusion and transfer of customer requirements into KN systems (Business & Customer profile)
  • Customer Relationship Management: Knowledge Exchange with Sales
  • Establishing and building Customer relationships (Sales support)
  • Reporting (refining and reviewing Customer requested reports generated from KN Systems)
  • Care & Follow up on first orders & document Customer Feedback
  • Actively participate in regular KN Team community based activities
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Candidates should have 3 years freight forwarding experience, ideally in Sea Imports
  • Knowledge of Kuehne + Nagel in-house systems (CIEL, ACON, KNLogin) an advantage
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • To be prepared to learn all aspects of the team’s work with desire and ability to provide cover and assistance on a regular basis
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer focus with proactive attitude
  • Candidate should process a desire to progress within the team demonstrating the ability to take on more responsibility in time.
