ResponsibilitiesHartgrove Behavioral Health System is a 160-bed leading psychiatric hospital dedicated to providing quality behavioral health services for its diverse population of children, adolescents and adults. As a leader in behavioral health within UHS and in the Chicago area, Hartgrove is a state-of-the-art facility offering some of the most advanced technologies and programs found in the behavioral health field. Hartgrove is a Joint Commission accredited and state licensed facility focused on short-term crisis stabilization programs. We provide fully accredited educational programs, comprehensive Behavioral Health services, along with an array of additional services, while utilizing a holistic treatment approach.


The Hospital is seeking fee-for-service therapists to provide individual, family, and group therapy services within our community partnerships at multiple school sites throughout the Chicagoland area. Our school-based partnerships focus on delivering behavioral health therapy to children, adolescents, and family members within a number of districts. Both daytime and evening hours are available. Clinicians may provide services in one location or across multiple locations. This role provides all overhead expenses for the therapist, including office space, supplies, billing and reimbursement services, and assistance with insurance credentialing.

The primary responsibilities are as follows:
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy services to clients of Hartgroveā€™s community partnerships with various school districts in the Chicagoland area.
  • Develop and maintain a clinical caseload while working alongside support staff for scheduling and appointment availability
  • Maintain and submit appropriate documentation as well as billing submission under the standards of the partnership
  • To assure compliance with applicable laws pertaining to psychiatric treatments
  • To provide a safe, secure, therapeutic and professional environment at all times


Qualifications:
  • Must be a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Illinois; LCSW or LCPC strongly preferred
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited MSW or M.A/ M.S. program
  • 2 years clinical experience within an inpatient/outpatient psychiatric mental health setting; strong preference for individuals with experience treating children, adolescents, and families
  • Must possess knowledge of general and psychiatric principles, working concepts and theory, age specific growth and development, limit setting, as well as crisis and behavioral management
  • Bilingual capabilities strongly preferred
