BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY

Forecasts, plans, prepares, and coordinates schedules for the maintenance of assigned aircraft, engines, and equipment. Prepares the weekly flying schedule, weekly, and monthly maintenance plans. Maintains records on all aircraft and engines, monitors TCTO status and compliance on aircraft, engines, kit requirements, and availability to ensure timely compliance. Ensures all required inspections, corrosion control, and time change maintenance requirements are properly forecasted and scheduled. Assists with aircrew/maintenance debriefing as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Prepares weekly flying schedule and weekly and monthly maintenance plans.
  • Initiates aircraft and engine phase inspection packages, monitors inspection activity, records all maintenance requirements/delays, updates inspection data through IMDS.
  • Manages the production and distribution of plans and schedules.
  • Maintains and reviews status of aircraft/engine TCTO compliance and kit requirements to ensure timely compliance and efficient use of resources.
  • Prepares engine inspection packages.
  • Conducts aircraft pre-dock meetings and attends daily planning meetings.
  • Ensures a smooth Phase flow.
  • Coordinates with Production Supervisor and schedules aircraft to work delayed discrepancies, and updates the Delayed Discrepancy Listing.
  • Coordinates with Quality Assurance personnel in the scheduling of weight and balance inspections
  • Uses the Comprehensive Engine Management System (CEMS) terminal to input engine transactions for daily transmission to the CDB.
  • Provides CEMS products on request.
  • Ensures that IMDS/CEMS is properly updated.
  • Performs the duties for shipment and receipt of engines and engine-related equipment
  • Annotates and distributes IMDS products as required, and ensures that IMDS is properly updated.
  • Provides appropriate data for CEMS product and reporting requirements to the Production Manager.
  • Manages, maintains, and ensures accuracy of aircraft/equipment historical documents.

Job Requirements:


QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

  • Must have a minimum of three years scheduling experience. U.S. Air Force aircraft scheduling experience required.
  • Must be able to operate computers, and software programs to include IMDS, CEMS, Microsoft Office Suite and Internet.
  • A working knowledge of IMDS and CEMS is required.
  • Must be able to successfully complete on-the-job training within 90 days of hire.
  • Must be willing and able to conduct specialty on the job training
