Oklahoma Heart Institute is currently looking for a member to join our team! The Scheduler will report directly to the Front Office Supervisor and will be responsible for scheduling and canceling appointments for patients, answering and directing incoming calls, coordinating and editing provider schedules, and entering authorization number and generating referrals for office visits in the computer. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES Want to make a difference? The ideal team member will: Schedule and cancel patient appointments at request of physicians, referring physicians, clinical staff and patients. Enter authorization numbers and generate new referral requests for future office visits. Reschedule patients from the bump list. Create and update accounts in EPIC. Create appointment notes accurately in EPIC. Ability to look up payment history on patient accounts. QUALIFICATIONS Want to be a part of our team?
