Kadlec has an exciting opportunity for a Scheduler Cath Lab to join our growing Diag Imaging Cmb located in Richland, Washington!

Shift Details: On Call, Per Diem, Day Shift .

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirement:

• 1 year of medical office experience

Preferred qualification for this position include:

• Medical Terminology education

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Under the direction of the Unit Manager, or designee, performs a variety of duties related to scheduling Cath Lab procedures and clerical/receptionist activities of the department.

• Demonstrate and sustain compliance with Kadlec Caregiver Expectations Standard of Excellence and Code of Conduct.
• Accurately performs scheduling of Cath Lab Services cases in the electronic medical record from information received electronically, faxed, or on the phone.
• Transcribes physician orders and follows through with appropriate actions and schedules procedures.
• Assists professional staff with daily care of patients by performing basic technical and non-technical tasks under direction and supervision when requested.
• Receives and greets patients, visitors, and Medical Center personnel and responds to inquiries with tact and courtesy.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and staff demonstrating a positive and caring attitude; demonstrates sensitivity to patients’ emotional, social, and mental health needs.
• Follows scheduling routine per policy, which includes, but is not limited to: Making appropriate and consistent decisions to schedule cases and consulting the Lead RN or Anesthesia Provider running the board that day, or Manager, to clarify issues or questions.
• Acts as primary contact to provider office staff regarding any changes, potential conflicts or concerns related to the schedule.
• Alerts department lead, Anesthesia Provider running the board, or manager of concerns as it relates to scheduling.
