SBA Administrator - Oak Ridge, NJ

Duties: The SBA Administrator at Lakeland Bank provides administrative support to the SBA Lending Department and its customers by organizing the workflow in all aspects of the SBA loan process from loan application and SBA packaging through secondary market sales and servicing, and by preparing and reviewing documents, ordering credit reports and other bank or regulatory required searches, preparing letters, processing deposits and vendor invoices, and preparing portfolio reports. Key Accountabilities:- Ensures all SBA loan file documents are properly updated and completed with proper signatures, dates, and other relevant data including Reg B and SBA related application and eligibility documentation.
- Ensures SBA loan application packages are complete prior to handoff to credit underwriter. Will work directly with internal and/or external customers to collect any missing information for SBA loan application package. Sets up electronic and hard copy loan files.
- Orders and tracks all third party reports (appraisals, environmental, business valuations) through bank’s respective portals and/or approved vendors and processes vendor invoices for payment.
- Prepares and coordinates accurate completion of SBA required documentation with internal and external customers. Reviews files and documentation for compliance and prepares SBA Form 1920 for review and approval by Senior SBA Portfolio Manager. Coordinates data entry into SBA loan system (E-tran or SBA-One)
- Reviews files prior to loan closing to ensure all SBA related items have been addressed and documented.
- Assists the SBA Team and/or closing counsel as needed to expedite closing process and SBA loan fundings.
- Initiates and coordinates the sale of the guaranteed portion of SBA loans including submitting bid sheet for circulation, receiving bids and reporting to Senior SBA Portfolio Manager, preparing loan sale documentation, and communications with investors. Follows up for appropriate documentation as required.
- Assists Loan Operations Department with monthly 1502 Reporting to resolve any reporting discrepancies.
- Assists in servicing requests, due diligence and communication required with existing customers.
- Manages input and update of data into Baker Hill including pipeline reporting.
- Monitors Director and Navigator for loan payment delinquencies and overdrafts.
- Monitors SBA loan portfolio for industry concentration, volume, loan sale data, SBA approval dates and SBA loan numbers.
Requirements:Skills Required:- Prior SBA experience is required.
- Ability to work with Baker Hill and other bank software
- Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously with strict attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including telephone etiquette, ability to interact professionally with customers and co-workers at all levels throughout the organization

- Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, and procedure manuals; Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Intermediate Microsoft office skills, including Outlook, Excel and Word
