Summary of Position


We are seeking a Salesforce Lightning Developer to join our team within the engineering business unit. Working on an agile team, you will develop new features and improvements, and support current development for our bespoke Salesforce solutions.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop APEX classes, triggers, unit tests, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components to support application build.
  • Design and implement data structure, flows, processes, and declarative set-up.
  • Prepare for and manage deployments using Changesets, Ant scripts, and IDE-based deployment tools.
  • Contribute to internal code-base and standards.
  • Coordinate in close collaboration with other team members and stakeholders to deliver on requirements.
  • Actively sharing in responsibility for meeting team commitments.
  • Producing technical documentation as needed.
  • Troubleshooting and fixing bugs.
  • Initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes to solve problems.
  • Passion for implementing practical solutions and creating delightful customer experiences.
  • Desire to help implement reusable, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested solutions.
  • Interest in security-first mindset and secure coding practices.
  • Ability to operate respectfully and effectively as part of a team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications


  • 5+ years of relevant technical Salesforce development experience
  • Understanding of programming fundamentals including, object-oriented programming, relational database design, web services, technical writing, and documentation
  • Experience writing Apex controllers, unit tests, and triggers
  • Experience working with Apex REST/SOAP API integrations
  • At least 2 Salesforce certifications, to include: App Builder, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CPQ, B2B Commerce, or Marketing Cloud
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-versed with the Lightning framework
  • Experience developing customer-facing interfaces
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platforms
  • Ability to problem solve high-level software and application issues
  • Understanding of web services and other technologies that can be used to transport data in an enterprise environment and interact with Salesforce.com

Preferred Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Familiarity with user interface development principles and experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment Pipelines
