The Salesforce Business Analyst will be an integral part of the support structure for our growing sales team. This person will learn our Salesforce environment so that he/she can provide guidance to various business groups, working closely with the CRM Manager. This user will also gain SF knowledge to test user experience and carry out administrative tasks based on business process needs and changes. The role will include a mix of admin and business analyst tasks, including documenting and translating business needs into Salesforce requirements and have the overarching goal of maximizing the overall effectiveness of the sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with CRM team and cross functional business teams to define business pain points and processes, and translate into functional requirement documentation;
  • Document current business processes and apply best practice knowledge to assess areas of improvement or automation;
  • Provide daily administration and support of Salesforce including but not limited to:
  • managing user setup, profiles, and roles;
  • customization of objects, fields, record types and page layouts;
  • Creation and maintenance of validation rules, formula fields, workflow rules (including Process Builder);
  • Customize Salesforce setup, with guidance from CRM Manager/team, to align with business and sales processes;
  • Create & maintain data dictionary and perform data validation and hygiene.

Qualifications:
  • BA in Business, Computer Science or other related discipline preferred;
  • 5+ years work experience;
  • 3+ years Salesforce administrative experience and/or knowledge preferred;
  • Salesforce Certification strongly preferred;
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly;
  • Strong written and verbal skills from both business and technical perspectives;
  • Working knowledge of Lightning UI required;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills; helpdesk experience preferred;
  • Business analysis and documentation required;
  • Experience and confidence working with cross functional groups (ex: finance, product management, customer success, etc.).
