SUMMARY:As the Billabong Sales Planning Analyst, you will own the Sales & Operations Planning process for the Billabong brand in North America. The candidate in this position will be measured against the sales and financial goals of the business unit. Additionally, this position must forge strong and positive relationships with the Billabong sales team, internal functions (finance, demand planning, merchandising, sales operations, and supply chain teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support Sales Management with all analytics to successfully plan, forecast all fiscal, regional, seasonal sales plans.
    • Fiscal budgets / forecasts (Sales & GP)
    • Operating SG&A budgets
    • Sales rep territory targets / plans
    • Purchasing OTB plan alignment w/Demand Planning
    • Monthly shipping forecasts / tools to plan the month
    • Ad hoc BI reports – regularly as needed
    • Retail Sales reporting – regularly as needed
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to assure accuracy of sales related systems

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:
  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • 5+ years of advanced level excel experience
  • 2+ years experience in FP&A, Sales Planning or demand planning in a wholesale environment
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence systems/SPS/Salesforce.com
  • Ability to consult, communicate and influence across range of people
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and skill for leveraging data to improve sales process/order book mgmt.
  • Strong financial literacy and forecast accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and critical thinking
  • Highly developed analytical and numeric reasoning skills
