BC Group is a leading provider of measurement and test equipment for the worldwide biomedical technical services marketplace. We provide a "one-stop shop", offering sales of test equipment & tools, plus calibration and repair services for most types of test equipment.


**Experience within the medical equipment industry or biomedical industry required.**


Well established distributor and manufacturer seeking a Sales Manager to work with our retiring VP of Sales and Marketing to help our company continue to grow. As an internationally recognized “One Stop Shop” for biomedical test equipment, we are looking for someone who can build relationships within this target industry to make connections, help us support our current customers, and bring in new contacts through personal interactions internally and in the field. This is a partial travel position, visiting trade shows, biomedical societies and customers throughout the year.


As part of a design and manufacturing company, the Sales Manager has the opportunity to coordinate with Engineering, Production and Service to give our customers the highest quality products and have input as to how our development efforts are focused.


The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and organizing our customer service and sales team. The Sales Manager will oversee the activities, performance, and training of the customer service representatives and account managers, further developing the sales approaches and designing plans for additional sales goals and targets.


Responsibilities:


  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being aware of new products and competition status.
  • Explore new products to add to our 75+ product lines distributed through the Marketplace.
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Help determine price schedules and discount rates
  • Oversee the activities and performance of the internal sales team.
  • Represent company at trade shows, association meetings and customers to promote products (around 20% of year).
  • Confer with potential customers regarding equipment needs and advise customers on types of equipment needs and advise customers on types of equipment to purchase.
  • Process RFQ and standard quotes for inquiring customers.
  • Support and coordinate with marketing.
  • Manage ongoing training of the sales department team.
  • Develop your team through motivation, counseling and product knowledge education.
  • Promote the organization and products.
  • Understand our customers and how they relate to our products.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required, Master’s degree preferred.Minimum
  • Experience within the medical equipment industry or biomedical industry required.
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience.
  • Minimum 10 years in sales or customer support.
  • Position is located in St. Charles, Missouri, relocation assistance may be available
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Experience in customer relationship management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dedication to providing great customer service.
  • Ability to manage and lead a sales team.
