Sales & Leasing Specialist - Housing

Overview: This position will be primarily based in the field and will support several communities. Under the supervision of the Director of Sales and Marketing, and working along with the village marketing and sales management staff, the Mobile Sales & Leasing Specialist will monitor and seek to improve sales activities including: The overall sales process from receptionist’s greeting to closing; Utilization of the PCC or ICAM contact software to monitor the sales process and generate reports; Track sales in relation to goals; The preparation and distribution of sales evaluation materials including the weekly performance of Village and sales staff, Village activity including the number of move-ins/outs, etc.
Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include but are not limited to:
- Supplement Village staff with leasing assistance and /or projects designated by the Administrator, Director of Housing and/or Director of Sales and Marketing. This position will also monitor sales efforts with existing leasing/administrative staff through census and/or from PCC/ICAM reports.
- Preparing for and attending conferences, meetings, and other local promotional opportunities.
- Monitoring staffing levels to include recommendations for performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution.
- Participating in the development of sales goals and objectives for the Villages and recommending methods and procedures to increase occupancy levels.
- Analyzing and appraising the effectiveness of sales methods, costs, and results.
- Serving as liaison for the Sales/Marketing Department to increase communication with Village staff.
- Maintaining and monitoring records and reports.
- Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Assists Administrator, Marketing Staff, or Director of Sales and Marketing in any other related tasks.
- Serves on committees as assigned or appointed.
- Creates and maintains a positive atmosphere of leadership, including continuous quality improvement, teamwork, mutual respect, professionalism and accountability.
- Attends and participates in meetings, training and development opportunities.

Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Formal Training
Associates’ degree or equivalent; at least 2 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. · Strong time management, organizational skills, and be deadline and goal oriented. Communications/Interpersonal Skills · Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) at a level generally commensurate with · Well versed in PCC/ICAM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. · Must moderate level of PC literacy particularly in general file manipulation and the · Microsoft suite of productivity products. Previous Experience · Experience in senior living communities, hospitality environment, and/or Community Outreach is desired. · Knowledge, experience and/or passion in serving and/or working with older adults is desired. · Skill in examining and re-engineering procedures and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures. · Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. · Ability to develop, plan and implement short- and long-range goals. · Ability to foster a cooperative work environment. · Knowledge of REPS contact management software. · Knowledge of industry benchmarks
