The Ironclad Finance team is approaching our own business with the same rigor - our mission is to drive company strategy and clarity of focus through data-driven insights and deep analysis.
As a founding member of the Sales Finance team, you will have the closest pulse on the health of our go-to-market engine and be responsible for building the infrastructure to help our business continue to scale through hypergrowth and beyond. You’ll have direct influence on Ironclad’s most strategic GTM decisions, get cross-functional exposure to all aspects of our business, and work with some of the most talented leaders in SaaS.

What you’ll be doing:
- Partner as a trusted business advisor for all of our GTM teams, assisting with problems that require financial business modeling and an analytical lens.
- Drive a highly quantitative understanding of our sales process, including modeling customer unit economics and cost to serve by cohort, proactively identifying high-ROI sales investments, and fully mapping out our GTM cost structure.
- Build for scale: identify and own process improvements across the entire lead-to-cash cycle, including driving discipline in deal structure, execution, and pricing, as well as performing the analysis to reinforce your recommendations.
- Own the incentive comp planning process to promote optimal Sales performance and create thoughtful incentives to drive the highest Sales ROI.
- Utilize Ironclad’s digital contracting platform to leverage contracting data for revenue & financial use cases.
- Flex creative muscles and executive-level communication skills in applying data & numbers to tell the financial story of the company.
Key Skills:
- 3+ years work experience in management consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG preferred), sales, strategy, operations, or finance; previous SaaS exposure a plus.
- Strong financial modeling ability required.
- Proficiency in Excel/GSheets and PowerPoint/Slides. Experience with Salesforce, SQL, Tableau, and/or BigQuery preferred but not required.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills combined with extreme attention to detail / task management.
- Excellent presentation, organizational, and communication skills (both written and verbal), along with poise interacting with all levels including Board Members and Executive Leadership.
- Comfort working in “gray areas” with insufficient data and building frameworks around ambiguous business problems to drive real action.
