About the job: The Red Hat U.S. Public Sector Sales team is looking for a Sales Director to join us to cover the U.S. Air Force. In this role, you will be a key part of our North America Public Sector (NAPS) Field Sales team. You'll work in a defined territory or industry vertical and be responsible for building new relationships as well as expanding and improving business with existing customers. You will oversee all aspects of the sales, including pricing negotiations, contract development, and order fulfillment, as well as the management of internal associates, including sales engineering support and technical support issues. You’ll need to be comfortable working with partner sales and services organizations, as well as IT and business executives, with extensive experience developing and carrying out sales plans. Your success will be measured by your ability to meet quantitative and qualitative performance goals and set high standards for articulation and presentation of key messages and the Red Hat value proposition.
