This is an excellent opportunity to join Hawaii's leading convenience store chain, 7-Eleven Hawaii. We are your neighborhood store bringing convenience to where you work, live and play. We are seeking people-oriented individuals looking to start a career in retail.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient and courteous customer service by greeting our customers as they enter the store
• Thank every customer in a sincere voice
• Aid in maintaining a clean, organized and customer friendly environment in and outside of the store (sweeping, mopping, stocking, dusting, emptying trash, etc.)
• Operate a cash register and correctly make change
• Maintain a positive store image by dressing and grooming according to the company’s dress code standards
• Work in the walk-in cooler
• Sell alcoholic beverages; refuse to sell alcoholic beverages to customers during restricted hours or to those who are intoxicated or under age
• Perform electronic ordering
• Be aware of merchandise sales and promotions
• Maintain proper food handling techniques for sanitation and spoilage control, including proper coding and rotation of food products
• Preparing and displaying all food service products as required
• Complete all job assignments and a variety of in-store paperwork
• Other “odd” jobs which make 7-Eleven an enjoyable place to shop

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and coworkers Desire to be part of a results oriented team.

Physical Requirements This position requires constant standing, walking with occasional stooping, reaching, kneeling and crouching / squatting. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds is required.
