Job Description


TCI is currently seeking a highly-organized and detail-oriented administrative assistant to join our Troy, IL Sales team. This person will provide administrative support to the sales staff and general assistance to customers. This person will play a critical role is helping the sales department stay organized, complete tasks, and welcome customers.

This position will work Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer phones and back up other sales support employees when necessary
  • Represent TCI as the first point of contact for customers in the sales department
  • Prepare truck sales documents
  • Set up new and used truck inventory in Procede
  • Create and maintain truck sales files
  • Monitor all office equipment and supplies for sales department
  • Submit truck invoice adjustments
  • Perform other duties as required by the sales department managers and work in conjunction with other truck sales support staff

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Friendly, pleasant demeanor and phone voice with solid communication skills to welcome guests
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of computer operations and MS Office, plus experience operating standard office equipment
  • Commitment to high-quality, accurate work, including numerical aptitude, data entry, and filing
  • Dependable, collaborative team player with the ability to also thrive independently
  • Experience with licensing and vehicle registration would be helpful
