The Sales Distribution Center (“SDC”) Safety Manager will be responsible for partnering with the SDC operations team in multiple locations (10+) to execute company safety policies, train employees in key safety protocols and assist in compliance to all applicable local and regional regulations. By leveraging Cambria Core Safety Rules & Cambria BeSAFE program, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in our processes to ensure a safe and healthful working environment for our Employees. A successful SDC Safety Manager will demonstrate the ability to build trust and confidence with the SDC Operations Team and inspire change by providing comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis. The SDC Safety Manager must be an effective communicator and send clear, concise and consistent messages, both verbally and in writing. You will coordinate with other Safety Managers on the Cambria safety policies and assist the SDC operations teams in incorporating our safety standards at the SDCs. You will work to identify best practices, assimilate Cambria best practices and incorporate these standard methodologies into the SDC standards to continuously improve the safety landscape. The SDC Safety Manager will possess excellent safety program knowledge as well as environmental and ergonomic knowledge and be able demonstrate this expertise when working with SDC Operations.
