Principle Responsibilities
- Monitors quality and patient safety.
- Creates and manages quality performance data.
- Conducts investigations and facilitates interdisciplinary reviews.
- Oversees reviews in partnership with team members.
- Coordinates projects.
- Guides and trains.
- Advises, trains and provides direction.
- Attends and contributes on committees and with teams.
- Develops strategies.
- Serves as an advisor for accreditation and regulatory requirements.
- Leads regulatory readiness.
- Supports annual external surveys and responds to agencies.
- Consults and provides recommendations.
- Leads projects and performance improvement initiatives.
- Collaborates to identify opportunities.
- Measures and analyzes data to formulate recommendations.
- Implements and monitors plans.
- Serves as resource systemwide.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements- Master's degree in Health Care, Nursing required
- 7+ years experience in quality improvement required or
- 5 to 7 years experience working as RN in a hospital setting required and
- 2 to 5 years experience in electronic medical records, internet navigation and research, Microsoft Office Suite required
- 2 to 5 years experience in project management, performance improvement principles, medical staff quality, hospital credentialing, regulatory standards preferred
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) within 180 Days required or
- Health Care Quality and Management Certification (HCQM) within 180 Days required
