Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Directs all nursing staff on assigned shift for all units. Assigns personnel to units including the float pool, companion pool, floating and furlough
of staff.
2. Provides guidance, supervision, direction and assistance to nursing personnel
3. Works with staff to resolve problems concerning nursing care issues.
4. Uses proper judgment in controlling cost.
5. Monitor ED throughput to ensure timely bed placement.
6. Collaborate with nurse managers and/or charge nurses to assist in bed management.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required or in pursuit of. Master's degree - preferred
Related Work Experience:
3-5 years’ experience in a Hospital setting is required.
More than 5 years experience preferred.
License, Certification or Registration Requirement:
