Job Duties may include but are not limited to:

Perform duties as a professional under guidelines of Nurse Practice Act.

Maintain infection control policies and procedures

Dispense medications properly

Application of wound dressing, wound care, suture removal and diabetic care.

Collect and interpret appropriate data of biopsychosocial health status

Provide respiratory care (suctioning, oxygen administration, tracheostomy care, aerosol and other respiratory therapies

Promote adequate nutrition (placement and maintenance of feeding tubes)

Provide basic emergency treatment required (CPR, Heimlich etc)

Ensure resident safety and comfort by making rounds at least every two hours

Provide direct care for residents

Follow safety techniques in transferring, moving and positioning residents

Maintain confidentiality and privacy

Complete charting to meet professional standard

Perform other duties as assigned by nursing administration
