Overview: The RN Case Manager -Registered Nurse (RN) provides for and assists in meeting the senior residents’ physical, emotional and psycho-social needs while adhering to facility, state and federal guidelines.
This nursing schedule includes;

    • 64 hours in two weeks
    • Day/Evening Shift Hours
    • Every other Sat-Sunday and rotating holidays

The Pillars of Mankato, Minnesota provides independent living, assisted living and memory care apartments for seniors in a specially designed community. The Pillars incorporates the seven components of wellness (emotional, physical, intellectual, spiritual, social, environmental and occupational) into our 118 units that make up The Pillars. Managed by Ebenezer we offer a comprehensive orientation and supportive work environment. We're conveniently located near the crossroads of US 14 and 169 and our community has their own bus that residents can ride for our outings.
Responsibilities/Job Description:
  • Maintains current assessment and documentation using progress notes of resident health status
  • Implements new and updates current resident care plan
  • Coordinates resident health services with internal/external providers and getting orders as needed
  • Manages and oversees timely and accurate medication and treatment administration
  • Acts as support to Director of Health Services to fill in as RN on call during scheduled times
  • Monitors work and performance of licensed and unlicensed staff
Qualifications: Required:
  • Current MN RN license or by start date
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
Preferred:
  • Work experience in a health care setting
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers
  • Ability to work with and have sensitivity to the needs of the geriatric population
  • Experience with mental health clients very helpful
  • De-escalation, therapeutic communication, conflict management helpful
