• POSITION SUMMARY
  Reports To:
  Director of Ancillary Services
  Summary:
  The Ancillary RN coordinates, and implements care of both inpatients and outpatients in the Imaging and Cardiopulmonary Department. Areas in which nursing interventions are provided include general diagnostic, interventional procedures, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, computerized tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging, cardiac stress testing, transthoracic echocardiography and other Non-Invasive Diagnostic Testing.
  Work Schedule:
  Must be able to work flexible schedule, Monday thru Friday primarily
• SKILLS & ABILITIES
  Education
  ASN, BSN, Diploma Degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
  Experience
  Minimum two year’s work related experience preferred; experience in Radiology, Procedures, ER and/or ICU required.
  Computer Skills
  Proficient in Microsoft office, email and basic computer skills for other software used throughout the hospital for your area of responsibility.
  Certificates & Licenses
  Must have RN license. Must be certified in BLS and ACLS.
  Other Requirements
  Maintain knowledge and skills. Follows hospital service excellence standards of behavior. Maintains patient’s rights and HIPAA regulations. Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures. Knowledge of nursing policies and procedures. Knowledge of hospital safety plan. Math skills to calculate drug dosages and IV rates. Ability to interpret information and act on it. Ability to handle stress effectively.
